I bought the recent Humble Bundle that featured a "Urban City" asset pack.. It was so sloppy pieced together that I ended up just refunding the bundle. I just bought your set and, holy moly, this is super organized and looks great.

Already thinking about buying more sets, how compatible is this with sets like Gothic Prison or the Wandering Souls Asylum?

I played for like 30 minutes and got no where on easy mode. Lots of random people disappearing, I guess they starved? My last run, it took 5 attempts to breed before one was successful, then the house died before the child matured and I guess that little mofo died in the house collapse.

The time it takes to gather food, wood and the whatever reason you need gold to breed and then 30 seconds for an "attempt" to do so with what seems like really poor odds, so you're spending like 2 minutes or longer for each attempt and the more failures, the harder it gets as you begin having to travel further and further to gather goods. If you're lucky, then it takes 2 minutes for the kid to mature on top of that, who can apparently die if you don't stay on top of wood cutting..

I like your idea but it needs work.

Here's some ideas

Let warriors gather food and breed, it makes no sense that they can't even do basic survival shit.

Prefab a nursery-type location when a child is born instead of locking up the home, it's honestly too much of a chore as it is to breed villagers.

Instead of having villagers just randomly disappear when they starve, make starvation take two ticks to kill them. After the first tick, change their color pallets. Something like this

starvationcheck()

{

if foodstorage <= consumption

{setbool isStarving = yes

changecolorIDKthecode = green}

else

{setbool isStarving = no

defaultColor = true;}

}
